BLIND SPOT MONITORING

Blind Spot Monitoring warns the driver of the presence of another vehicle in the blind spot zones of his PEUGEOT Boxer, when this presents a potential danger. The alert is given by a warning light which comes on in the rear-view mirror on the side concerned, as soon as a vehicle (car, truck, cycle) is detected.

REAR TRAFFIC ALERT

The “Distance Alert” function (collision risk alert) warns the driver that their vehicle is at risk of colliding with the vehicle in front of them in their lane. This visual and audible alert occurs just before the triggering of the “Active Safety Brake”. This innovation makes it possible to detect vehicles within a distance of 50 m coming from the left or the right when reverse gear is engaged. The information is reproduced audibly in the passenger compartment.
